WHAT IS L-JEER?

L-JEER is an Autonomous solution that can be implemented into any vehicle to transform it into an autonomous vehicle that can perform specified missions.

WHY SHOULD WE USE L-JEER?

Because it saves time, reduces cost in the long run, saves lives in critical missions, reduces human error, and overall improves the efficiency of your process.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

Depending on the vehicle and mission specified by the customer we will create a custom package/solution that is specifically designed for your needs

WHAT DO WE GET WHEN WE ORDER?

You get the L-JEER Autonomous solution customized for your mission with support and in addition, you will get the list of required and recommended hardware needed to be integrated into your vehicle to accomplish the specified mission and for the autonomous solution to perform at its best.

WHAT FEATURES ARE AVAILABLE?

Autonomous navigation:

  • From the current position to the given goal position.

  • Mapping.

  • Exploration.

The autonomous navigation can:

  • Navigate with or without a pre-existing map.

  • Navigate with GPS, Intermittent GPS, or no GPS.

  • Avoid static and dynamic obstacles.

  • Deal with contingency scenarios.


The software will be customized to perform specific missions like mine detection, rescue, transportation, reconnaissance, etc..
 

 

WHAT FUTURE FEATURES WILL YOU OFFER?

  • Continual Improvement on the core L-JEER autonomous system.

  • Add data collection and logging.

  • Implement a satellite map-based user interface, for outdoor environments.

  • Implement an indoor map-based user interface, for data collection in indoor environments.

  • Module for quick configuration for different scenarios and vehicles

  • Predictive dynamic obstacle avoidance. Currently, our system is reactive, which implies it takes action when the obstacle comes in the path. We plan to update the module so that it can predict a collision, and avoid the obstacle even before it comes in the path of the robot. This kind of system will allow the robot to have a faster response to the changes in the surroundings.

  • Develop a fleet management system.

  • Replace LiDAR with a set of stereo cameras.

  • Reach level 5 Autonomy.

WHAT IS THE UNIQUENESS OF THE TECHNOLOGY?

  • The software solution is configurable. With the architect of a plug-n-play module, this will reduce the time for the vehicle to reach the market.

  • The solution can be implemented on multiple vehicle platforms and can be customised to perform different missions.

  • It can function in GPS, intermittent GPS and GPS denied areas.

  • Multiple sensor fusion algorithms to optimize navigation

  • It is not a black box i.e. it can be tailored to your requirements.

  • It is Homegrown. Fully controlled R&D and updates. It will also expand local domain knowledge in this field.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

  1. Select your vehicle.

  2. Select your mission.

  3. Integrate the required and recommended hardware by Code 314 onto the Vehicle.

  4. The code will integrate the L-JEER Autonomous solution.

  5. Your autonomous vehicle is ready to be deployed

  6. Additional Support and Services provided

WHAT IS PROVIDED IN THE L-JEER NAVIGATION STACK?

We provide the following modules in the navigation stack:

  • Mission Executive 

  • Local Planner/ Controller

  • Global Planner

  • Chief Executive (optional, to interact with the user)

  • Auxiliary and Helper programs.

WILL THE SOURCE CODE BE PROVIDED?

Source code for all the nodes and few libraries will be provided. This is done, in order to facilitate the integration. The user is free to modify and customize the code according to their need. However, the source code for libraries that are implementing just algorithms such as libraries for the controller, planner, etc, will not be provided.

 DOES IT COME WITH ANY HARDWARE?

No, we do not provide any hardware with L-JEER Navigation Stack. We do provide a list of required/recommended hardware if needed.
